Union Films

Documentary, podcast, event coverage, and other dynamic video content for workers everywhere.

Out of Office is the story of a scrappy group of office workers who managed to pull off a major victory for workers’ rights.

When their contract expired, the workers reinvigorated their dormant union and fought back against their employer - a massive financial services provider making record profits.

Their fight dragged out for over 600 days. Brand New Extra Good documents the first strike in the company’s almost 100-year history and the largest labor action in Wisconsin for over ten years.

Strike Coverage

Documentary coverage of OPEIU 39’s contract campaign highlighted key issues and personal stories.

Content was packaged and presented strategically with several goals: to engage and inspire membership, to educate and engage the public at large, and to establish narratives in the media favorable to the union.
